Dr Adi removed cataracts from both eyes. Later, the right eye seemed a little problematic in that it always felt scratchy and like something was in it. Dr Flanagan(sp) put me on eye drops for a few more weeks and it seemed to correct the issue. I am very pleased with how my eyes are progressing especially cause I was really anxious about cataract surgery, even after my research on the subject. I knew if I had to have them removed, Dr Adi would always be my choice since she removed my Mother’s. Since I trust her, I trust Dr F who seemingly fixed the problem. He is so kind, and the consummate professional. I salute both of these doctors and will always refer others to them!!

Words can not express how professional the staff is at Washington Eye..... My father is a first time patient and Dr. Dawson explained everything we needed to know about his eye health very clearly. One of the highlights of the visit for me has nothing to do with vision. In accounting my recent my recent history and expressing concern that Tylenol is the reason What a pain in my liver on the left, Dr. Flanders pointed out to me that my liver was on the right. He’s always personable and knowledgeable
everyone was very helpful---and I didn't have to wait long for any procedure. Dr Flanders told me what I needed to know---happy to be his patient.

Dr Adi is an outstanding eye doctor who is caring and very skilled. Her assistants are always kind,thorough and encouraging. The best eye service I ever used and highly recommended to anyone.

After postponing cataract surgery as long as possible, I finally had to move forward at age 52 when my contact lens prescription breached -15(!). I researched area cataract surgeons extensively, and in my referral discussions with optometrists, surgery patients, and physicians who do pre-ops, Dr. Adi’s name came up over and over.
Dr. Adi patiently listened to understand my situation, explained the various options, answered my endless questions, and helped ease my anxiety (somewhat!). We wound going with the J&J Eyhance monofocal lens (Vivity not available for my natural prescription), LenSx (to break up the old lens and form capsule), and Wavetec ORA to check and fine tune the prescription power of the implant. Highly recommend the ORA and not sure if the LenSx added value given Dr. Adi’s skill in doing the same manually.
Another surgeon had said that Dr. Adi has “golden hands” and this was certainly my experience. When the LenSx did not complete the capsule cut for my right eye, she did so manually. After being an extreme myope my entire life, I now see 20/15 (better than 20/20) in each eye, an exceptionally good result. Thank you, Dr. Adi!!!
